estown Public Library was built in 1915 and first served as a school. It has since become a small community library designed to serve the public of Jamestown and the surrounding community. We encourage you to post your thoughts on our service and the things that we offer to the public.
Please share with us how we can become better and further serve the population. All suggestions as to materials (books, DVDs , books on tape, etc. ) that you might have are welcomed. Any ideas about events and ways that we can become a more integral part of the community.

Summer Reading and Enrichment Program
Every Thursday morning, from 10-11 am.
Toddlers will continue to meet with Julia Ebel at 10:30 am.

(Bring a beach towel )
June 26th—Super Spy Training Become a super spy –go though laser light training, get a superspy name , go through practice “bombs” and more to hone your superspy skills
July 2nd – Ear bud wraps, Hangman
July 9th- Native American artifacts and make your own “Dreamcatcher” with Barbara Nelson
July 16th– Make your own Cartouche necklace with Hieroglyphics
July 23rd – Geode Smashing , How Geodes Form, Rocks and Minerals , Precious gems
July 30th –Worm Races , composting and Newspaper pots for plants
August 6th – Collage drink coasters , Book Title Concentration
August 13th– Movie, The “Hobbitt”
